Summary

Greg has been flying and instructing pilots professionally for over 30 years, having originally mastered the art of owning and caring for many airplanes when he started a Part 141 Certified Flight School in San Diego, California and served as its Chief Instructor responsible for supervising all flight training activity. Greg has been specializing in piston-to-jet transition courses for years, beginning with the Paris Jet (MS-760), and is FAA's sole DPE in the MS-760. Greg was affiliated with the original Eclipse Aviation in 2007 as one of the early Mentor Pilots, becoming designated by the FAA to become the first pilot examiner in the Eclipse 500. He has over 17,500 flying hours, with over 2,500 hours in the Eclipse 500 VLJ Jet. Greg presently serves part of his time as a Norton Aviation instructor and FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE), primarily serving the West Coast of the United States. With his extensive VLJ background, Greg contributes substantial practical experience and professionalism to Eclipse training and flying programs, including through his role on the Norton Aviation Flight Staff.
