About Arnell Enterprises

Arnell was founded in Manhattan Beach, California, in October 1969 as a small Real Estate Investment and Property Management company, and was formally incorporated in February 1971 when it expanded to include construction operations. The original Board consisted of Roger W. Burnell, John R. Shumway, and James R. Ewing, Jr., and the real estate broker in charge of acquisitions, leasing, and sale was for over 25 years Jason Lane, originally serving as the City’s Mayor and associated with Riddle & Ross, and later the principal founder of Lane & Fawcett Realtors. During its growth years, projects expanded from apartment buildings into single family residences, tract homes, strip centers, condominiums, office buildings, shopping centers and professional plazas. One of its two original real estate brokers, Bill Ross, remained involved as the company’s condominium subdivision attorney.

Current Focus
Today the company specializes in acquiring and then sourcing or assembling design, planning, architecture, engineering, construction, interior decoration, leasing, property management, and sales services for a select range of projects of interest, that extend from the special boutique (such as residential remodels) and historical renovations to the more grandiose, such as land and commercial development projects. Examples include a Commercial Center in Delray Beach, Florida, 179 condominiums on 10 acres in Scottsdale, Arizona, and a Regional SaveMart Shopping Center near Fresno, California. Special undertakings have included the development of a community Recreational Center in Thousand Oaks, California, and the stewardship of its consulting division, HRI (Human Resource International) which specializes in executive and group training in the field of organizational communication and corporate effectiveness.
